The Grant carpet leads its way through from the bar into the restaurant and the historical theme continues. Antique rifles adorn the walls, a little piece of history from the times of Culloden, also a hotel bill from 1891 displayed on the wall, pheasant watches over you to make sure you are relaxing….he will tell us if you are not!!

Cutlery and flowers sit on tartan tablecloths where you dine & the light filters in from windows where in the summertime it is still light at midnight.

The food is all homemade in our kitchen. Our Chefs work hard to ensure  that the only the finest food arrives at your table.
At the Glenmoriston Hotel we want to ensure that your dining experience in the Moriston restaurant is memorable for all of the right reasons.
One of our friendly team will show you to your table and take your order, your appetiser arrives soon afterwards,  maybe you have chosen the Haggis Parcels flavoured with Whisky Cream Sauce or one of our chefs delicious soups .
You expect the best and we will deliver the best. Of that you can be assured. Sit back relax and enjoy a tender moment with a bottle of wine from our wine list, whether a Pinotage from the De Waal Estate, South Africa, Sancerre Chavingnol from the Loire Valley or a delicious fruity Merlot Rose from Argentina we have it here.

The Haggis is produced locally to a family recipe and it’s not as spicy as some but we serve thousands of portions a year and our guests love it.The main course, you may have chosen Scottish Sirloin Steak, Saddle of Venison, West Coast Haddock, Scottish Salmon or even (on occasion) Scottish Border Ostrich, everything we serve is the best of produce that Scotlands larder has to offer, all from award winning suppliers.

Our desserts are home made every day, from Zingy Lemon Tartlet to Scotland`s own Cranachan with Oats soaked in what else but malt whisky, or it could be our own homemade Crumbles or Sorbets.

Finish off the evening with coffee, mints and maybe a glass of Port or a Gaelic Coffee made with one of our many malts.

Then retire to the Bar and join in whatever conversation is taking place, sample an after dinner malt and chat with your fellow guests sharing your days experiences and plan the days ahead, such is the pace of life in the Highlands .
