New Year in the Highlands 2008

The Celebration of New Year is Legendary in Scotland so why not join us here at the Glenmoriston Arms Hotel. A Few rooms are still available due to late cancellation so don’t miss the opportunity to say goodbye to the Old and Greet in the New Year in style.

Arrival day is normally the 30th of December,if this does not suit your plans don’t worry we are flexible on this.

On arrival you will be welcomed with a fine Scottish Malt from the Speyside Region to allow you to relax after your journey.Dining is at a time of your choice each night apart from New Years Eve were we all join in the bar at 6.30hrs for pre-dinner drinks  and canapés ,prior to dining at 7o`clock.When you will be served the best local produce the Highlands can offer.

After the meal why not take a short stroll to the village hall (only 100yds) from where you will be able to join locals from around the surrounding area at the Ceilidh and welcome in the New Year .Piped in by a local piper as the quaich is passed round for all to sample.

After stroll back to the Hotel Bar and have a few Drams before heading to bed to dream of the New Year resolutions you have just made and wished you hadn’t!!

The next morning Breakfast is served at the sensible time of 10.30am this should allow you to sleep of any hangovers you may have! In case you feel like the hair of the dog ,we start with Champagne at breakfast for the ones that can face it!!

The afternoon is all about rest and recuperation or should be if you have enjoyed yourself.Take a stroll along the River Moriston then enjoy afternoon tea with cake and sandwiches before having a "Wee Nap" should you need it prior to the evening ahead.

That evening we will be holding a free raffle with some interesting prizes the most glamorous being a two day break(not transferable to anyone else)  for the Hotels Moriston Room with its Four Poster and Two Person Jacuzzi and a bottle of Champagne on arrival.This has to be taken during the months of March or April 2009.Remember we will only have 16 guests so the odds are in your favor!!
